Vivid Bloom Counseling came to life from my deep passion for mental health and my desire to create a space where everyone feels welcome, heard, and supported. Hi, I’m Mallory Lakin, LCSW, MSW, and I am the founder of Vivid Bloom Counseling. I’m here to support you through life’s challenges, whether it’s managing obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) or anxiety, navigating life transitions, or addressing relationship struggles. Drawing from my diverse clinical experience and training, I use a blend of evidence-based approaches like Exposure and Response Prevention, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Mindful Self-Compassion to help you reach your goals. My focus is to guide you to recognize and tap into your strengths, empowering you to create a more balanced and fulfilling life.
I believe therapy should feel approachable, so I work to maintain a warm, down-to-earth atmosphere where humor and connection play an important role in your healing. I’m here to walk alongside you, offering support as you develop the tools and mindset needed to face life’s challenges with confidence, resilience, and joy.

What is your background?
I have been working as a mental health therapist for nearly a decade. In this time, I have worked in a variety of settings including inpatient psychiatric care and outpatient clinics. I have been trained to be an OCD and anxiety specialist and continue to build my skills through continuing education opportunities.
Do you take insurance?
Yes! I am currently paneled with Cigna and Aetna in both Arizona and Massachusetts.
What are your costs?
If you choose to utilize insurance, your rate will be dependent on your plan. During our consultation call, if you choose to move forward with your treatment, I will input your information to help you learn your benefits. If you would rather pay for services independently, a 50-minute therapy session is $150.
Do you offer virtual sessions?
I do! I offer virtual sessions for individuals in Arizona and Massachusetts. If you live in another state, I am happy to assist you in finding a therapist in your area.
What if I want to change the focus of treatment?
Not a problem! You and your life will continue to change, and we can shift our focus to best meet your needs.
